Dr. Height and Dr. Young were devoted to social justice and human rights.  They have left us with a legacy of activism that was targeted and unapologetic.  We are a part of that legacy and have a responsibility to ensure the viability of our profession for the present and the future.  The Social Work Reinvestment Act is a critical piece of legislation that is timely and necessary to support the profession and the millions of people we serve each day.
